My family and I were living there (on the 2nd floor) when this picture was taken. I would’ve have been 7 years old at the time. We lived there from 1988 to 1991 then moved to Jackson Heights. I can’t believe I came across a picture from a house I lived in over 30 years ago just scrolling the internet. Thank you to the photographer and Benjamin Grayson.
Hi Aung,
These are all very beautiful and powerful photographs. I discovered them in my archive research for a documentary series we are producing. We’re trying to bring alive this exact neighbourhood of Queens, during the 1990s. I would love to discuss the use of your work in our program. Would you kindly send me an email. I write from Melbourne Australia. Thanks in advance. Kristie
