The location was LANGSTAFF not Falstaff. Yes it was located just north of Thornhill on Yonge St.
Falstaff was a huge mushroom farm

The house were the administrator and his family lived was moved to a residential street in Richmond Hill …. my sister is living in it.
Langstaff Road, not Falstaff. Falstaff was often on the fringes of the law so he might have fit in well at the jail farm but Shakespeare killed him off in Henry V, long before the place was built.
I lived on a steet acrossfrom it in the mid 50s Westwood Lane it was definitely still a jail farm but certainly very low security ( no fences).
