Kellogg’s Corn Flakes (10/22)

Kellogg’s Corn Flakes

J.H. Kellogg, the man responsible for the well-known Kellogg’s cereal brand, was not only a medical doctor but also a passionate health activist. He held strong beliefs about the connection between diet and overall well-being, which led to the creation of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes. Surprisingly, these famous corn flakes were initially designed to prevent sexual urges, specifically to discourage the act of masturbation.

During the 19th century, masturbation was considered sinful and detrimental to one’s health. Dr. Kellogg believed that a healthy, bland diet could help combat these urges and promote overall physical and moral well-being. As a result, he developed corn flakes as a breakfast option that aligned with his beliefs about nutrition and its effects on human behavior.

        • Circumcisions are performed without anesthetic, whether topical, local or general. Because of the pain and soreness following the procedure, less masturbation occurred. It also mentions doing pretty cruel things to repeat offenders, including applying phenol to a woman’s clitoris and/or vagina; or applying silver sutures with needles to a flaccid penis. The needles stab into the flaccid penis whenever it becomes erect.

          • To be clear, it didn’t work. He was so hysterically against masturbation as a newborn that he believed it would be so traumatic for infants to experience genital pain (which routine infant circumcision is regardless of the anesthetic used because even with the best available option, the baby still experiences tremendous pain he cannot comprehend which in turn causes the brain to be rewired) that they would not masturbate. Considering that circled males still go hard in the paint in hand games, he was wrong. In addition, he poured carbolic acid on newborn baby girls’ clitoris to achieve the same effect. Thankfully, that one did not work and females can keep their foreskins. However, the guy was sick in the head. When they discovered RIC didn’t “cure” masturbation, they had to come up with new reasons to justify why they started in the first place AND to keep the cash flowing. The foreskin is sold to cosmetic companies to make wrinkle cream for around $1000 per procedure.

    • I’m not familiar with this part. However, hospitals do profit from the acquisition of foreskins. In cosmetics companies, they are saved and turned into expensive cremes that women rub on their faces to look younger. That financial motivation seems to be the reason it’s being pushed under the guise of “it’s more sanitary/prevents infection”. This is only true if you wash your dick less than once a week, which is basically no one since we shower/bathe regularly. I find the whole thing to be primitive, illogical, and cruel. The circumcision of a penis is fine, but it’s wrong to have part of one’s penis needlessly sliced off in its first few days of life without numbing agents. I really, really wish it would stop.

  1. The cereal was accidental. It was developed by accident when he left dough out overnight and then tried rolling it out and serving it to his brother regardless of mold forming. It was manipulated and sold as sugar-free by his Baptist brother. They had lawsuits and the original founder gained rights and added sugar, he then moved on to forming the Kellogg’s company and make millions.
