Bert Six was a talented photographer and portraitist from Missouri. He worked for Warner Bros and several other famous production companies. He was best known for his glamour shots of Hollywood actresses. Six joined Warner Bros. in 1934 and became head of the still department in 1945.

Six photographed some of the most famous Hollywood stars, including Bette Davis, Joan Fontaine, Joan Crawford, Eve Arden, Jack Benny, and others. He died in 1967 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 65.
