Bassels was a great restaurant
Many fond memories of Bassel’s when I was working downtown in the sixties. Nothing in the world like an ice cold pint and a ham cheese and lettuce on a kaiser bun on a stinking hot day. ❤❤
I see the pointed roof front of 381 Street, Yonge Street Mission/Evergreen still there–YSM HQ @ 306 Gerrard East, Evergreen on Spadina.
Spent a lot of time in that building later when The Big Slice was in there. Miss that place.
