I always thought they built that theater to fit in with the architecture of the rest of the stores and fixture in Town & Country. So, it never seemed out of place or behind the times. It just “fit in”.
when I first left the Air Force and before I began at the PO, I worked at Trans Con Employee Agency which was on the left side of the theater
Saw The Omen (1976) with my mom at Town & Country, one night. Scared the crap out of us! Also saw The Way We Were (Streisand/Redford ) with her there in 1973. My parents loved going to the movies together, but I guess these two weren’t my dad’s cup-of-tea.
