Is that the Grandstand and better living centre?
Grandstand yes. But before the existing BLC was built.
The good ole days before it became a concrete jungle. Way before my time although my dad was 6 years old then.
Taken from where Ontario Place is now
The Lakeshore Boulevard then wrapped around the back of the CNE
that two-lane road at the bottom, just north of the breakwall / water is Lake Shore Boulevard
BEACH !!!!
nope, just an embankment and a road
It seems we used to use the lakefront big time back then. Not anymore.
yeah, it became things like Ontario Place, Harbourfront, Toronto islands, yacht clubs, beaches and restaurants. It seems they got rid of the shipyards, refineries, and warehouses.
