That doesn’t look like Hyde park to me that looks like Christie pits to me.
you can see its High Park,Toronto as the ttc streetcar is on the right,it loops there still and goes east sgain.

late 50s no waterproof winter coats,pants,soaked easily.
This was known as the “Sugarbowl” when my siblings and I sleighed and tobogganed here in the 50’s. It was very popular and you had to know where the odd rock or stump was. Unfortunately I found out the hard way when I hit one near the bottom of the run, went flying and bent one of my sleigh runners! 😲😆❤️
