I lived on McNairn near Yonge Blvd.
I loved the area. There were so many beautiful, old homes. I liked living close to Yonge Street. There was a small French restaurant on Yonge that my husband and I use to go to.
I lived on Old Orchard Grove – even when I was growing up this intersection was nothing like this picture!
Where is Yonge Blvd ?
it runs northwest from Yonge to Wilson. The intersection with Yonge is just south of Hogg’s Hollow.
The original artwork for the sign is in my mother’s portfolio from her time at Rapid Grip and Batten
my great great uncle was about to build 136 St. Germain about this time….
My old hood! Loved growing up in Toronto !
