I just finished reading all about “The Ward”. It was so sad, the conditions those people lived under was terrible. The pictures were heartbreaking.
hey were mostly immigrants to this New Country, nobody cared, just the families looked out for each other
People were happy that they had a roof over their heads 😳
I know lots of people who grew up in The Ward. They have fond memories of their childhood and hold regular reunions.
