My father worked at this plant as a production planner.
Carlaw Ave. In Toronto just above Dundas. You could smell the soap!!
woods was on the north side the soap factory was on the south side of Dundas
Colgate Ave., North West of Queen and Carlaw
Both my Dad and my Uncle worked there. We lived on Austin Ave and I could see the neon sign that was on top of the building from my bedroom window. Great memories back in the day
When that plant closed a lot of the employees came to work at Lever Brothers at Don Valley & Lakeshore where I was employed, and sadly that place is closed.
