I believe this is looking east towards Bathurst, (the photo being taken south of the church). On the left side of the picture the intersection of Adelaide and Bathurst is visible as well as the Factory Theatre on the north side of Adelaide St W
I used to deal with Arthurs-Jones Lithography when I worked in advertising for Carling O’Keefe. Didn’t know they were around in 1920.
I worked at Arthurs-Jones for 11 months starting in June 1974. They were then located on Sterling Avenue.
I did some work with them in the early 80’s. They were a high end shop. I still remember the owner, Duncan McGregor.
Definitely looking east with St. Mary’s church on the left
My brother worker with them in the 60-70- 80.
