By the late ’40s – early ’50s there was a taxi stand on the northwest corner of that intersection across from the Glen Echo Loop. Where that billboard is, there used to be a large sign advertising the Red Feather campaign.
My parents lived on Yonge Blvd when I was born.
So roughly where this photo was taken, the east side of Yonge st. where Loblaws grocery store is.
Not familiar with that area Tim ,I grew up south of Christie Pitts !!
