Does anyone know why this part of town was called “The Ward”? There was an area of Guelph that used to be called the same thing – I don’t know if it was as bad, but many impoverished newcomers started out there.
this is far better then living on the streets,
That house would be worth $1.5 million today.
Sadly people in most cities would consider this luxury then a tent or a transit shelter
