My grandfather gave his first blow job on that car!
You should have kept them!
Wow, I didn’t know San Jose had those.
SJRR car 73 was restored by California Trolley and Railroad Corporation. It is now at the light rail maintenance facility. A few years ago it was used for the Holly Trolley by VTA.
Cool – I didn’t know we had this in San Jose. Thank you for sharing.
At one time there was one on display at the county fair grounds, is it still there?
That was a California Street cable car from San Francisco at the fairgrounds. It was at the trolley barn in History Park for many years. It was sold to someone.
early 50’s , to promote the opening of the Fair, my sibling snd myself had our photo taken on that trolley.’l it was in the Mercury Paper.
There’s an old streetcar that actually runs at History Park. There used to be a couple that the VTA used to run on selected routes. However, I haven’t seen them in years.
