I seem to remember that there was a lovely motorcycle inside for a few years before the property was sold. It always seemed a shame for it to be just sitting there all alone.
I believe you’re thinking of Dick’s Honda that was at the north east corner of Cornell and Kingston Road. It was actually in a somewhat newer building than the image being shown and at one time used to be a restaurant. Dick was one of the first I remember to begin selling Honda cars when they were first introduced to Canada. On the north west corner was a former gasoline station that became a Renault dealer before no longer selling the brand and becoming Han’s after the owner.
you are absolutely correct! I looked at this a second time and realized my mistake. This is where Fallingbrook garage was until a couple of years ago. North west corner..
It was a Honda Elsinore dirt bike as I recall. Dick’s Sales and Service.
Now condo
it’s all condos from Queen up to Birchmount..
Looking at the Google Maps photo, it’s like this place never existed
That pump looks old even for that time.
