The building at 130 E. Flagler St remains unchanged to this day, but it’s disheartening to see the rest of the block looking run-down. It raises the question of what it would take to bring high-quality retail back to downtown Miami. Perhaps the closure of Macy’s was one of the factors that contributed to the decline of the area.
