Fascinating Vintage Photos Show What Kansas City Looked Like in the 1960s

During the 1960s, Kansas City thrived and developed, many historic buildings were demolished to make way for parking lots, neighborhoods, and buildings. The area became primarily for business rather than for everyday city life. Kansas City began to annex more land to the south and expand its area.
