My mother took the tram from Elgin Mils to attend high school in Richmond Hill in the late 1920’s.
At some point on the north west corner they built a bank, Dutch oven bakery, cigar store, drug store and continued with a car dealership, Chinese laundry, apartment building and A&P
Looks like the wild west!
