“Blood Alley” those trees grew big and if you hit them it was like hitting a stone wall. You could always tell which trees got hit by the bark missing.
I had two great aunts that hit the same tree on two different accidents one barely made it and the other killed.
Drove home on this stretch from Morgan Hill 2 nights ago, I enjoy the slow pace over the “new” freeway traffic.
