Adolf Hitler Paintings: 50+ Amazing Artworks Painted by The Notorious Leader

Adolf Hitler desperately wanted to be a painter but failed twice to get admission into the art academy. However, he didn’t stop there; he started drawing paintings and tried to sell them solely, his financial resources were exhausted for some time, and he had to live in a homeless shelter in Vienna in December 1909. Hitler produced hundreds of works and sold his paintings and postcards to earn a living during his Vienna years (1908-13). The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna director also suggested that he should apply to the School of Architecture. Still, he lacked the necessary academic credentials because he didn’t finish secondary school. During his service at army headquarters, Hitler pursued his artwork and drew several paintings. Several paintings were recovered after his death and sold at auctions for thousands and millions of dollars. Others were seized by the U.S army and are still their property.
