These historic photographs show everyday life of people who lived in the Russian Empire two centuries ago; -simple peasants, soldiers, officers, laborers, sellers, nuns, and working-class women and some staged performing an activity, such as drinking tea or gaming, and some photographed in the performance of their occupation. These portraits are saved in The Library of Nineteenth-Century Photography.
