There were dozens of genres of music in the 1970s; Funk, Rock, Pop, Jazz, soul, country, and many more. The late 70s also witness the birth of another music style, hip-hop and disco emerged as the most prominent genres of the decade. Vinyl records were on its peak because they were affordable, and everyone had a record player. Some of the legendary rock stars emerged in the 70s, from David Bowie, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin to Pink Floyd, and many more.
