Her Wedding Night is a 1930 American comedy film released by Paramount Pictures on September 18, 1930. Frank Tuttle directed it, and the script came from Henry Myers and Avery Hopwood. The cast included Clara Bow, Ralph Forbes, Charlie Ruggles, Richard “Skeets” Gallagher, Geneva Mitchell, and Rosita Moreno.

Clara Bow plays a movie star at the center of the story’s mix-ups. The comedy kicks off when she misses her train. At the same time, a man named Larry (Ralph Forbes) is pretending to be his friend, a well-known composer named Skeets Gallagher — played by Richard “Skeets” Gallagher himself.

Clara and Larry end up accidentally married because neither of them speaks the local language well enough to sort out the misunderstanding. Rather than setting things straight right away, the two go along with it. The fact that Larry already has a group of women waiting for him back home only adds to the chaos.

Charlie Ruggles plays a friend who just wants to get some sleep, making him a perfect foil for all the commotion around him. The film builds toward a classic bedroom farce, complete with slamming doors and guests hiding in the wrong places at exactly the wrong moments.

Paramount went beyond a single English-language release. The studio remade the film in multiple languages at its Joinville Studios in Paris. The French version was titled Let’s Get Married.
