Newcastle-based photography studio Turners Ltd hired models throughout the 1950s and 1960s to promote their work to potential customers. Many of the poses their models struck were uncomfortable, off-kilter, and suggestive. Rounding out the collection is a short narrative series from March 1962 featuring Turners staff member David Grey as a feckless husband who buys a camera and restores his marriage to full vigor and bliss.
